The weekend event introduced many youth anglers to rivers, the habitats and wildlife they support the techniques and skills to catch fish and most importantly in a safe and friendly environment. At the beginning of June the River Teifi was in perfect condition. Rain two weeks earlier had replenished flows and judicious stocking by Cymdeithas Pysgota Tregaron Angling Association in partnership with the Environment Agency meant there were plenty of fish to tempt with the fly. 2nd International Rivers FestivalThe English and Welsh youth fly-fishing teams have been meeting in competition since 1985.
